The survivor of a knife attack that killed her younger sister is now being adopt.

Last Jan. 22, 2003, in the CasaBlanca hotel-casino in Mesquite, Tammy Bergeron came home and found both of her daughters stabbed. The attack killed 3-year-old Kristyanna Cowan and paralyzed 10-year-old Brittney Bergeron from the waist down.
